Customers have the option to install their own electricity generating systems. These systems are wind turbines, solar photovoltaic or biogas. The systems are able to connect to the WPS distribution system. It's a process called "interconnection".
WPS wants to make the interconnection process easy for all of our customers. At the same time, the process must be conducted in a manner that is safe and cost-effective for WPS and our customers.
