Solar Olympics

Solar Olympics is an annual, one-day renewable energy competition for participating SolarWise® schools and held at the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. Throughout the fun-filled day, students participate in a variety of challenges, such as Solar T-Shirt Design and the ever-popular Solar Car Competition. Solar Olympics gives students the opportunity to learn about solar energy by direct, hands-on experience, while also gaining experience in project management and teamwork.

2026 is the 30th year for Solar Olympics, which will be held at UW-Oshkosh on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
