WPS's Energy Information System
is a valuable tool for gas transportation customers — even those
who use marketers or brokers for gas purchasing and related services.
If your business consumes a lot of natural gas, you can use the Energy Information System to:
- verify daily gas usage
- identify daily and hourly gas usage patterns
- help determine how much gas is consumed by a specific process
- track variations in gas usage related to weather conditions or changes in your production schedule
Gas customers, marketers and brokers will also find:
- hourly consumption
- daily consumption
- month-to-date information
- eight reports using current-month and previous-month data
Getting started
Some portions of the Energy Information System
are available for public viewing. Others are secure. If you wish to access secure
areas of the system, please complete our
Registration Request form.
On this form, you will choose:
- Who is authorized to access your company's energy information
- A password for each authorized user
Logging in
After bringing up the Energy
Information System on your computer, simply:
- Choose "Log In To The System."
- Enter your user name.
- Enter your password.
- Choose "Natural Gas Data" to view your data.
You will need to contact us to:
- Change your password for the Energy Information System
- Update the names of people who have access to the data
If you do not access the Energy Information System for six months,
your user name and password will be automatically deleted. This
helps ensure security for your data.
